On the way to Strahlhorn.
We have been walking since 3:45 am. We had been jumping in the darkness over glacier crevices with headlights on. But admiring the sunrise in the middle of a white mountain paradise, that's a great experience!

After 5 hours and 45 minutes we are standing on Strahlorn above 4200 meters. However, the visit to this narrow and small peak is brief because we are not the only group and the cold wind does not really invite you to have lunch there.
I still want to take some pictures.

A sneak of Matterhorn (Monte Cervino on the italian side).
On the way down to Zermatt.
Marion is stuck in a hole on a snowbridge between rocks.

And with some help she did it!
This is the very steep slope where we came down!
Jumping again over crevices, this time by daylight. After 12 hours and 30 minutes (since 3:45 am) we finally reached the cable car which took us down to the very touristic Zermatt.
